Ubud Market, Bali
Staying in Ubud at Sania's House we woke early to potter around the market and find some fantastic gems and gifts.
Just outside the gates to Sania's was a wealth of market stalls.
We pottered through the quiet streets, chatting away and sharing our favourite parts of the trip so far.
Stores sold silk and batik fabrics, typical market clothing, trinkets and beautiful carved wood.
We picked up little jumpsuits and harem trousers and all sorts!
Throughout the market beautiful pieces of architecture and temples would be dispersed amoungst stalls of silk fabrics and woven basket bags.
Even the shops and art galleries were utterly lovely.
We popped into a gallery and chatted to the local artists who supply the pieces. Just beyond their displays, the artwork on their building was as beautiful as their work.
After the quiet of the gallery we headed back out into the bustle of the market. We picked up a few gifts and momentos before heading back to the santuary of Sania's.
The retreats are invaluable – great physical nourishment and the quieting of the mind creates a perfect environment for strategic business vision to manifest.
A few miles into the valley there's a spot that I've fallen in love with
Let's be honest, a scoby isn't particularly pretty looking.
With the summer sun high in the sky, we headed out to a little village just down from ours.
